Royal Leather Industries Limited is a vertical unit producing finished leather for shoes, garments, hand bags and furniture. It comprises of leather Tannery and Stitching factories for garments and furniture articles. The Tannery is equipped with the most modern imported machinery from Italy, France, Germany and Netherlands. There are about 600 people working in the Tannery and 400 in Stitching factories.

As per Ikea requirements the following practices should be follow to ensure to effectiveness
of the needle policy.
The main purpose of this procedure to look out various aspects according to
customer point of view that there should be no needle part in any of the product so
that when a customer uses that product it should not be harmful to him. This procedure further
stated that all other metal should also be carefully analyzed like buttons pcs, broken eyelets
etc. By controlling these factors we can minimize the claim charges or bring it to zero level
if we strictly follow this procedure.
The stitching hall supervisor will maintain all the records of issuance of needle to the stitches.
The Stitching supervisor will maintain all the records of the receiving of needle breakage received from the stitches and it should also comply with the issuance register as well.
The General Manager Production is responsible to see the needle file at the end of every week. and carefully analyze the issuance and receiving of needle breakage records in order to verify that staff is following the procedure carefully and as per Ikea standards
